Professionalization usually means learning to understand what is expected of you. The one who adapts the smartest is the most successful. In other words, the ability to successfully adapt to the demands of e.g. the market, society or politics is a skill that is often seen as indispensable. This minor seeks to both intensify and nuance this view and relates professionalization to urgency rather than adaptation. We do this by researching the phenomenon of resonance. Research into resonance leads us to ask with what pure, intrinsic motivation we as artists, architects, designers, actors, musicians, lawyers or scientists are actually doing or not doing something.
